Gotta go with the moment in New Hope when the storm troopers are trying to get into the little control room on the Death Star where R2-D2 and C-3PO are hiding. The stormtroopers finally get the door open and go charging into the room...only the last stormtrooper is a little too tall for the door frame and smacks his head as he enters the room. That cracks me up every time.
Just kidding...that really is there and it really does crack me up, but it's not really my favorite moment. For that I'm gonna go with the starship battle in Return of the Jedi (around the 2nd Death Star). That's really several moments, but if you squished all those moments together, that was an epic battle.
I follow that with the scene where Luke first shows up at Jabba's palace. Jabba's palace was already a great set (all those great aliens and decor) and then the lone, black clad jedi shows up and you suddenly realize Luke isn't the farm boy from Tatooine anymore...now he's mysterious, powerful, and deadly (and the cloak was really cool, too). That was the first time you saw what a jedi in his prime was all about.

That definitely was a great one, but I can't get over the scene where Luck is leaving the Degobah system to save his friends in Empire and you can Obi wan's voice say "that boy was our last hope" and Yoda responds "no...there is another". The mystery blew me away.
I like the Emperor,
I like the Emperor, especially when he says, "Oh, I'm afraid the deflector shield will be quite operational when your friends arrive." Not to mention:
Luke: Your overconfidence is your weakness.
The Emperor: Your faith in your friends is yours.
Man, he sure was mean.
