Oh how great the feeling is. It seemed so long ago we got to taste the sweetness of a WIN. We got one more to go and I know we can win again!
If we had a winless season, I was going to sign us up for this.
IRVINE 16” SOFTBALL LEAGUE
We will be starting a new coed league this summer using a 16 inch ball. League play will start the first week of June. Gloves will be optional. This is a good league for players of all levels since the larger ball is easy to hit but can’t be hit as far or as hard as our standard 12 inch softball.
The cost of the league is $285 for a six game season. Games will take place on Monday night. Game times are 7:40pm and 8:50pm. This game is very popular in other areas of the country, especially in the midwest, and is starting to catch on in California.
To register a team, managers need to fill out the attached City of Irvine roster and turn it in along with payment to the Sports Office at Harvard Park (14701 Harvard Avenue) by the May 21 registration deadline.
